About the Author

David Livingstone has been researching the hidden aspects of history for the last 25 years, resulting in the writing of three books. David's approach to history is to dare to consider those areas often dismissed by scholars as the subject of cranks, but to investigate these matters with the utmost scholarly rigour. The results are works that expose many neglected areas of history, but resist the tempation to hasty generalizations, and therefore offer a more sober penetrating treatments.

The History of a Dangerous Idea

Publication date: July 25, 2015

Transhumanism is a recent movement that extols man’s right to shape his own evolution, by maximizing the use of scientific technologies, to enhance human physical and intellectual potential. While the name is new, the idea has long been a popular theme of science fiction, featured in such films as 2001 Space Odyssey, Bade Runner, the Terminator series, and more recently, The Matrix, Limitless, Her and Transcendence.

However, as its adherents hint at in their own publications, transhumanism is an occult project, rooted in Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry, and derived from the Kabbalah, which asserts that humanity is evolving intellectually, towards a point in time when man will become God. Modeled on the medieval legend of the Golem and Frankenstein, they believe man will be able to create life itself, in the form of living machines, or artificial intelligence.

Spearheaded by the Cybernetics Group, the project resulted in both the development of the modern computer and MK-Ultra, the CIA’s “mind-control” program. MK-Ultra promoted the “mind-expanding” potential of psychedelic drugs, to shape the counterculture of the 1960s, based on the notion that the shamans of ancient times used psychoactive substances, equated with the “apple” of the Tree of Knowledge.

And, as revealed in the movie Lucy, through the use of “smart drugs,” and what transhumanists call “mind uploading,” man will be able to merge with the Internet, which is envisioned as the end-point of Kabbalistic evolution, the formation of a collective consciousness, or Global Brain. That awaited moment is what Ray Kurzweil, a director of engineering at Google, refers to as The Singularly. By accumulating the total of human knowledge, and providing access to every aspect of human activity, the Internet will supposedly achieve omniscience, becoming the “God” of occultism, or the Masonic All-Seeing Eye of the reverse side of the American dollar bill.

• Protestantism and secret Jews

• Martinism and the origin of Synarchism, based on the hollow earth myth of Agartha

• the use of the myths of Agartha and Shambhala as part of the Great Game (includes H. P. Blavatsky and George Gurdjieff)

• Synarchism and the origins of fascism

• The connection of the Protocols of Zion to the Memphis-Mizraim rite of Freemasonry.

• Nazism, the Muslim Brotherhood, Rene Guenon's Traditionalism, TIbet and the Dalai Lama

• the fabrication of the UFO mythos by Theosophists

• Freud, Jung, the CIA and MK Ultra

• How the CIA created abstract expressionism

• how Tavistock created the 60s, the New Left, Black Panthers, and the connections between MK Ultra, rock music, Anton Lavey and the Manson killings.

• neoconservatism, neoliberalism and the world bank.

• the Christian Right, John Birch Society and the CIA

• Gladio, Traditionalism and the neo-fascism that venerates Hitler as an avatar of Vishnu.

A Three Thousand Year History

Publication date: December 12, 2011

Covering a wide array of hot-button, often polarizing subjects such as Zionism, Nazism, radical terrorists factions, and where each fits into this highly controversial picture. Livingstone has delivered an important, albeit highly subjective book that's part history, part ideology/theology and part conspiracy theory. Terrorism and the Illuminati is an in-depth view of secret societies, terrorism and present day conflicts, from the perspective that all are interconnected, related and fueling each other, thus propelling the world towards a "clash of civilizations."

Terrorism and the Illuminati traces and connects individual groups such as the Holy Grail, Freemasonry, the Knights Templar and many others. Lords, legends, myths and elite bloodlines, when analyzed independently appear insignificant and are easily ignored. However, when the dots are connected, a very different picture beings to come into focus. According to like-minded individuals, keeping these connections broken and the lines blurred, has allowed these secret societies and their members to operate in the shadows of a meticulously cultivated public image. While many dismiss the idea of secret societies and a one world government as mere conspiracy theories run amok, many others would argue that is part of the plan. One should stop and remember the words of the commissioner regarding the catastrophic events of 9-11... "a failure of policy and a failure of imagination..." Thinking outside the box has always been a trait of forward thinking individuals and societies. Analyzing the ridiculous or outlandish has resulted in numerous discoveries and inventions that in retrospect have shaped communities, academics, governments and the world as a whole and their creators are given the highest, most prestigious recognitions.

Although the ideas presented in this book have been discussed for hundreds and hundreds of years, interest in these age-old theories is obviously still alive and well, as was demonstrated by the response to Dan Brown's book "The Da Vinci Code," as well as, the popularity of the subsequent movie, which was an international blockbuster.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy reading books about the occult, secret societies, one world conspiracies and its possible link to terrorism. Also those who simply enjoy a challenging, thought provoking read that stimulates the mind. Terrorism and the Illuminati offers a strong starting point to begin your own research into this interesting, controversial discussion. Livingstone has included (at the end of the book) an exhaustive resource list that provides readers with lots of information, from a variety of sources. --RJ McGill, bloggernews.net

A devotion to objective truth, a courageous independent spirit and a keen analytical mind. I urge students of the Cabalist Conspiracy to read "The Illuminati and Terrorism: A Three Thousand Year History." Few works offer as much insight into the true character of the world we inhabit. --Henry Makow, henrymakow.com

The Hidden History of Western Civilization

Publication date: June 14, 2002
Few would acknowledge that our knowledge of history could be significantly inaccurate. The most common conception of history is one that begins in Greece, the "cradle of Western civilization", then progresses through Rome, and finally Europe and America. However, this merely represents a strictly Western version of history, and one that is often confused with the history of the World. Fortunately though, recent scholarship has begun to elucidate the extent of the indebtedness of Western history to other civilizations, rendering our notion of "Western" civilization obsolete.Rather, a more accurate assessment of the past will reveal a neglected account, the hidden history of Western civilization, which began in Mesopotamia, in the sixth century BC, with the birth of a tradition centered around the myth of a dying god. The development of this tradition led to the emergence of philosophy among the Greeks, then influenced the formation of Christianity, and was appropriated and elaborated upon by the Arabs during the Middle Ages. Ultimately, being introduced to Europe during the Crusades, it eventually spawned the Renaissance and the Enlightenment.

The subversion of Muslim politics throughout history until the present day

Publication date:

A transatlantic cooperation between David Livingstone and Sahib Mustaqim Bleher - takes the reader into the murky world where Arab heads of state, CIA operatives, former Nazi agents, Sufis and mainstream Muslim organisations meet. Yet it is not a work of fiction, but meticulous historic research and political analysis that opens up those links. For those who have taken Islam and its modern expression at face value, it will be an eye-opener. For those who hope that Islam will once be restored to its former glory, it is compulsory reading to help them recognise the causes of failure and avoid the same pitfalls for the future.
